JON BROBERG -- Independant/Freelance

Jon is a highly respected teacher, performer, and clinician, in the UK. Many of his students have been recognized nationally, four of whom have been finalists in Britain's National Young Drummer of the Year contest.

"I get to play a lot of styles of music, from drum'n'bass and punky beats to funky blues and latin jazz but finding a stick that works well in all situatuions hasn't always been easy. I like a fairly light long stick with a ball tip for fast cymbal work and defined ghost notes.
I love the Los Cabos 3A's which are very quick and really well balanced. I use the White Hickory 3A' s for funk, jazz & blues playing and the Red Hickory 3A's if I'm doing a heavier gig where I'm rocking out & need more volume. The Red Hickory sticks are tough and really takes the edge of the hi hats and rimshots well. If I'm in a very light jazz setting I'd use the Maple 3A's. I get the same perfectly sized stick but in 3 weights! How cool is that?!".

Clemens Frank -- SEPTEMBER MURDER, MATHYR

5 A Hickory

Clemens Frank has been playing drums since 1996. Being also a curious piano and guitar student, he made the drums his main instrument when he changed from the synthesizers to the drumset within his first serious band HIDDEN IN THE FOG in 2001. After the release of their 2005 album "Damokles" which had been highly appraised by the press for its open-minded approach on black metal, they played concerts allover Europe from Norway, the British Isles, benelux to Switzerland.
In the meantime he had some side projects and was engaged by the electro / industrial pioneers FEINDFLUG and the alternative / progressive metal outfit DISILLUSION as a live drummer with whom he played well-known festivals such as Wacken Open Air Germany, Metal Camp Slovenia, Wave Gotik Treffen Germany, Frozen Rock Italy and Summer Darkness Festival Netherlands.
These days Clemens is a member of the death metal maniacs SEPTEMBER MURDER and the avantgarde black metal band MATHYR, constantly playing shows and working on new material.
Just recently, Clemens has joined female-fronted experimental nu-jazz rockers UNLOVED on drums whose debut album is going to be released in the course of the year 2010.

BOBBY FIGUEROA -- The Endless Summer Beach Band (featuring Al Jardine) -- Corazon Pacifico -- Ricci Martin

5B Hickory and 5A Maple

obby Figueroa grew up in Glendora California. His early influences included the prominent “surf” drummers of the early ‘60s and as he matured, he was drawn to drummers such as Buddy Rich and Dino Danelli of The Rascals.

Bobby has had many wonderful experiences as a drummer, including playing and singing with The Beach Boys, and recently Ricci Martin, son of the late, great ‘Rat Pack’ member Dean Martin.

“It’s so hard to point out just one great musical experience since there have been so many that have touched me deeply,” he said recently. I think, however that I can sum it all up by saying that playing and singing with The Beach Boys, has been the most rewarding of all. So many wonderful things have happened around that special group of people and having the support of Brian, Carl and the rest of the boys in that most miraculous band have just been nothing short of astounding. I was honoured by them to be allowed not only to play drums and percussion but also sing along beside them and even sang lead on a song or two. Really, I am overwhelmed at this time but I thank God that Dennis Wilson hired me on that day in April of 1974 and gave me a chance. I will always be happily in debt for that”

Bobby still plays with ’The Endless Summer Beach Band’ featuring Al Jardine, and enjoys that music even more than ever. He has also started his own group “Corazon Pacifico” (Pacific Heart)

RYAN GABRIELSON

3A Maple

Im Ryan. I have been drumming for as long as I can remember now. Its really the only thing I truly enjoy and love to do. I can't think of a better way to release stress than beating up on an awsome sounding set of drums and making the beats in my head a reality.

Through out my entire drumming life, I have only played in two bands. My first band was called Martial Law. It was a project that I started at 16 and carried on until just this year. In that band brought me the experince of touring, recording and probably the best times I have ever had in my life. The guys I played with were all top notch and I love them all dearly. Sadly the band fell apart but that didn't stop me one bit.

Through a little luck and a whole lot of fate I answered an add by some random chick named Kim. She had a project underway called "In Davey's Grip", and she needed a drummer. The name caught my eye so I sent her off an email. Looking back on that day, it was probably one of the best things I could have done. With my hard hitting, punk influinced style , Kim, Greg and I instatly had a musical connection and I was the new drummer. BOOYAH! With the recent addition of the guitar slaying rock god Andrew we are now ready to melt your faces off!!
