Tony “Leh-lo” Rabalao

Tony “Leh-lo” Rabalao has recorded and toured extensively throughout
Europe and North America with many artists including Big Sugar,
Blinker The Star, Ivana Santilli, Kyprios, Kazzer, Liam Titcomb,
Billy Klippert, and Juno award winners Bass is Base.
“Drums are my first love, musically, but then I really took an
interest in songwriting.”
In order to satisfy both passions, he formed the Juno nominated rock
band Joydrop. They had hit songs in the U.S. and Canada many of
their songs were written by Tony, including the top 20 Billboard hit
“Beautiful”. They shared stages with many international acts and
toured North America relentlessly.
Tony has appeared in 10 music videos aired on Much Music and MTV,
performed on the Junos, The Much Music Video Awards,Canadian Idol,
Mike Bullard, and has appeared behind the kit in several TV shows and
feature films.
He is currently touring with Tara Slone (Joydrop), is the musical
director/drummer for Canadian Idol winner Kalan Porter, and is set to
release his solo debut cd as Leh-lo, entitled “Zigzag”. Three songs
on this disk will be featured in 2 upcoming movies.

Tony graduated from the Humber College Jazz program, and studied with
Paul Delong, Don Vickery, Vitto Rezza, and Jim Blackley.
