Steve Broadhurst has been part of the Winnipeg music scene since 1989.
He started drumming at the age of thirteen, and playing professionally since seventeen years of age. Now at age 36, it has been his career since leaving high school and he shows no signs of slowing down !!!
Playing music has taken Broadhurst across North America, Europe and The Middle East. Touring around to all these great places with different artists has been some of his most memorable life experiences.

Last May (2006), he went to Kandahar Afghanistan to perform for the most amazing people on the planet, OUR CANADIAN TROOPS. It was an experience that had him drumming for Country artists Michelle Wright, The Wilkinsons, Julian Austin, Diane Chase, Maritza(Quebec) and fiddle great Richard Wood. He had this once in a lifetime trip, thanks to an artist that Broadhurst has been performing with since 1999: Amanda Stott, who was also a performer on the trip.
Playing with Amanda has taken him across Canada on some great tours with artists such as Keisha Chante, Kaylen Porter and playing a few shows with the legendary Kenny Rogers.

Broadhurst is also no stranger to the studio, lending his talents to such artist as Doc Walker, Amanda Stott, Eagle and Hawk and The Foster Martin Band to name a few.

Theatre has also been a part of Broadhurst`s career. He has drummed for such shows as: Footloose, Fame, Smokey Joe`s Café, Chicago and Grease for the theatre production
Rainbow Stage. Also “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” for the Manitoba Theatre Centre. Coming up in 2008 Steve will be drumming for The Full Monty and Dreamgirls musicals.

You can now see Broadhurst performing many dates with C.C.M.A and Western Canada Award winners “Doc Walker”.
