Carlos Solorzano is a professional drummer from Southern Arizona. Prior to moving to the desert he was born, raised and reared as a pro drummer in the Los Angeles music scene where he spent over 15 years recording and performing with various acts. He also shared the bill with acts such as Maroon 5, Nancy Sinatra, Rick Derringer, Tierra and many others.
After moving to the desert he began to focus on his own music which included the networking of his original drumming compositions that are based on world rhythms and his solo act where he adapts world rhythms to the drumset.
As a composer, he has had his music distributed by Peacework Music, performed on KXCI Radio in Tucson, AZ & KAOS Radio in Olympia, WA, awarded with an ASCAPLUS Award for songwriting and given a Career Advancement Grant by the Arizona Commission on the Arts in order to compose and record more compositions for distribution and licensing. He also has several non-exlcusive deals with several licensing companies and has been commissioned for the writing and recording of his original compositions.
As a performer he imitates the sound of a percussion combo through the use of 4 way independence. He has performed his solo act all over Arizona on live local televisions shows, live on radio, webcasts, nightclubs, outdoor festivals, as a clinician and at the Arizona Black Film Showcase.

Carlos is thrilled to be using Los Cabos Drumsticks and calls them, "the best sticks that I've ever used! They are consistent and durable and feel great whether I'm on the practice pad, recording my compositions or performing my solo act live."
